The feeder team, which was recently assembled, showed their relative inexperience against, what were clearly, more seasoned opponents and succumbed to two early goals.  In the second half they gained  composure. Though despite putting up a spirited performance in the second half they conceded another goal. Coach Lawson, assisted by Coach "Italian" Dove, was at the helm of affairs and he explained that some of boys have lots of potential and felt that the experience for the team as a whole was good to set the ball rolling for the future.
